Week 3 Flickr School Library Learning 2.0

I've uploaded a photo of my library, went through the tutorial and looked around Flickr. I did use Webshots for a year with a subscription and found it an easy way to share photos with family and friends. Flickr seems to be more popular and I found it easier to upload to Flickr with a Mac. It was also very easy to upload to this blog. I'm trying to understand how one does mashups and it appears you need to buy software to do them. I was surprised at the number of library pictures on Flickr.

Week 1 - starting my blog

Well, this was easy enough to do. I did create a blog with other teacher friends to keep in touch over one summer. BUT, this is different. I subscribe t a few blogs, but I guess I'm more of a lurker, so this exercise is forcing me to be a participant. I'm getting off to a late start but excited about learning and using new things. Emphasis on the using part of that statement.
